Coinstar Slides 15%, Misses Q3 Sales Estimate and Sees FY Sales MissingBoston, Nov 06, 2009 (MidnightTrader via COMTEX) -- Coinstar (CSTR) is down sharply after the company said late Thursday it earned $1.34 per share in Q3, including items. The Thomson Reuters mean estimate, usually less items, was a quarter per share.
Sales of $296 million missed expectations for $331.9 million.
For the year, it expects to earn $0.98 to $1.04 per share with revenue between $1.12 billion and $1.17 billion. Analysts are looking for a profit of $0.85 per share with revenue of $1.27 billion.
